Dedicated To

This blog is dedicated to the women who have made me what I am today. Without you I have no idea where or who I would be. Thank you for leading me along these past 33 years. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your friendship.

Teresa G.My mother. YOU have been by my side since day one. Thank you for setting such a Christ-like example for me to follow. Thank you for always, always, ALWAYS being my biggest fan, for holding me up, for drying my tears. Thank you for all the hugs, all the prayers, all the love. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for knowing when to push me, knowing when to support me, and knowing the difference between the two. There is no one like you.
Your love inspires me daily.

Carolyn C.My TBA Practitioner. You were the start of my healing process. God has used you in my life in a mighty way, and I am forever grateful. You have seen me at my lowest…late at night, in my PJs, crying, seriously believing I was coming to an end…and yet you continue to pour into me. I’m very thankful for you and the God-given knowledge you have of the human body and mind. If it wasn’t for you, I don’t where I, or members of my family, would be.
Your genuine sweetness inspires me daily.

Cindy D.My therapist. (Is that even the right word? How does one explain “Brain Gym Facilitator?”) I heard about you through Carolyn C. and traveled about 2.5 hours for that first session with you back in 2010. You’ve also seen me at my lowest, but with your help and knowledge I’ve been able to climb higher than I thought possible. Your openness and frankness with me is just what I need, and to this day I still travel about 2.5 hours for sessions with you…because you are that good. Thank you for believing in me.
Your spunk inspires me daily.

Denise H.My church friend and fellow servant. Even though many miles separate us now and I don’t see you multiples times a week like I used to, your positive and cheerful ways still influence me to this day. The way you would take off across the country with your children on vacation – just the three of you – made me long for such courage. And now, seeing your new life unfold and your resilience through it all lets me know that you are still unstoppable.
Your strength inspires me daily.

Bridgette B.A sister I never had. The girl who took off on a missions journey to another time zone/continent/country/hemisphere, came back with a Godly soul mate, got married in her home church, then left again to live in that same time zone/continent/country/hemisphere, and is now in the beginning stages of planting a church in ANOTHER country. Whew. Good thing that was your story and not mine! It has always appeared to me that NOTHING seemed to get to you or make your nervous. Oh to experience that just for a day…
Your fearlessness inspires me daily.

Brenda F.My favorite employer. Between our perfectionist ways and strong organizing habits I sometimes think we are two peas from the same pod. How I miss the days of working under your direction and talking non-stop in that preschool kitchen about life. You made it easy to come to work.
Your faithfulness inspires me daily.

Briana R.My sweet young friend. I’ve known you for quite some time, but didn’t really get a chance to KNOW you until early 2016. You’re so cool. And pretty. The way you carry yourself, whether in the valley low or on the mountain high, is something to behold and I am truly honored to know you. Even with Type 1 Diabetes you live life and carry on. How you do it is beyond me – oh to be more like you.
Your bravery inspires me daily.
